Wondering what your photoshoot experience with me will be like? I got you! Here is what to expect for your photoshoot:
1. The Inquiry Stage: Are We A Good Fit?
This is our first contact by phone so I can answer all your questions, start to learn a little about you and your brand, talk about prices, and help you determine if I am the right photographer for your needs. If we are a good fit, we will then schedule the shoot, I’ll send you the contract and invoice and then we’ll book our planning session! Tip: Make sure you download my Free Guide for Personal Brand Photoshoots for suggestions!
2. Getting Ready For The Planning Session
At this stage, I will be sending you some emails to help you prepare for our planning session. I will guide you through everything you need to know so that you show up with confidence and full of ideas that will showcase the personality of your brand. I know how busy you are so I’ll make it simple and easy to follow. This is a very exciting stage because you get to refresh or even reinvent your brand! Think about it…it can be anything you want!
3. Planning Session
Prior to this session, I will send you my Brand Vision Questionnaire for you to start thinking about your photography needs for your brand so we can make the most of your shoot. This will allow us to find the best locations, outfits, props and poses, and together we’ll plan the details of your shoot. It also includes figuring out the stories you want to tell your audience and clients with your images and a key shots list.
4. Photoshoot Day
The reason why we do steps 1, 2 and 3 is that we want your photoshoot to be a relaxed and fun experience. You’re all packed, hair, nails and makeup on point, we know where we’re going and we have your props and key shots checklist ready. There’s nothing to worry about because I'll guide you through poses to help you look and feel confident in front of the camera.
5. Image Selection Process
Within one week of your photoshoot you will receive an online gallery of your unedited images in low resolution. Once you access your gallery, you can ‘heart’ the photos you like, then look at the favorite list you created and start un-hearting images until you get down to the images you absolutely love and will use for content. Remember, the number of photos you can pick is based on the collection you booked.
6. Delivery
Now that we know which ones you love, the selected images will be retouched and enhanced, and then delivered to you in a private online gallery. They will be available for download in two resolutions: print and web. Bonus: It is also possible to purchase extra photos if you find it hard to pick only the ones included in the collection you chose. ;)
